Family Place Libraries™

Family Place Libraries™ transforms libraries into community centers for early childhood information, parent education, emergent literacy, socialization and family support. Working in collaboration with community agencies, Family Place librarians reach out to parents and caregivers to provide the local network families need to nurture their children during the first years of life and ensure they enter school ready to learn.

Family Place is a regional and national initiative of Middle Country Public Library. Family Place provides training and assists libraries in replicating Middle Country's family-centered programs, services and collections in 25 states.
