On Saturday, March 21st MCPL Director, Sophia Serlis-McPhillips was honored by Assemblywoman Rebecca Kassay as a 2026 Woman of Distinction in recognition of her leadership, vision, and commitment to serving the community.
Assemblywoman Kassay also honored Shirley Singletary-Hudson for her volunteer efforts throughout the community, including serving as the Secretary of the Middle Country Library Foundation. We applaud these inspirational women and the good work they do to strengthen and uplift our community.
