The library has reached thousands in the community with visits to the Nature Explorium, providing a place for young local residents to learn and grow.
Ten years ago the Nature Explorium was certified by Nature Explore, and opened to the Middle Country community with a grand celebration that July. From the beginning, the Nature Explorium has allowed children and families to experience the benefits of nature and it continues to let children explore, play, and learn in a safe and natural environment. Our community and staff are continually amazed at how this initiative has transformed our programming and increased attendance and visibility within the community.
To celebrate a decade of the Nature Explorium we are offering a Spring Jubilee 10th Anniversary event on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Participate in nature-based activities and dance with The BenAnna Band, a high-energy musical duo that will have families singing, playing, and dancing. Come on down to celebrate with us!
